In 1519, Havana, Cuba’s capital city, was founded as San Cristóbal de la Habana, named after the patron saint of the day when the city was founded, and the name Habana comes from the indigenous name of Cuba.
As a tribute to the rich history of the city, San Cristóbal de la Habana cigars were introduced on the threshold of the new millennium.
