Romeo y Julieta
Romeo y Julieta debuted in 1875 and is named after William Shakespeare’s tragic lovers.
The early 20th Century saw the rise of the brand internationally thanks to Pepin Rodriguez, a talented promoter who recognized the power of cigar bands. His production features no less than 20,000 unique bands.
Winston Churchill became a fan of the brand. In recognition of his visit to Havana in 1946, his name has been used to describe one of the marque’s most famous sizes, the Romeo y Julieta Churchill.
