The wrapper was eloquent and nearly entirely without any visible veins on the surface, which can be colored with a golden-tan colour and a slightly darker hue of filler leaves in the base of the cigar. Clipping the other end demonstrated the exact same recognizable pattern of”bunched” filler leaves in the mind which instantly revealed the exact same honey-like, manure odor of good quality Cuban tobacco.
It’s well rolled in Colorado medio, the very best foliage out of Vuelta Abajo Tobacco Area. The draw was nice while the burn was not 100% secure but constantly self-corrected. The ash was not really striking and held for a few centimeters.
Flavor-wise, among the best cigars I have ever needed. Never moved outside. The rod is chiefly spicy. Why is it good is that you will never know what could come next – at the first third, I detected some cedar notes that were replaced with elegant floral aromas in the next third. In the past third, Cohiba Esplendidos gets uncontrollable and that I could feel chocolate/cocoa. Coupled with peppery tastes, it gives an outstanding end.
Cohiba Explendidos is a luxury cigar, quite expensive (the 2nd most expensive Cuban cigar in present production accessible, after Montecristo A). Not for regular and it has to be well elderly to execute a fantastic smoke.
I’d suggest to smoke this cigar at least, four or even five years old by the date of manufacturing. Cohiba Esplendidos is a cigar firmly falsified, take decent care together with the source that it came out. Love it as much as I do.
